With Apple’s new iPhones speculated to launch soon, we’ve come across so many leaks and rumors that have pretty much revealed everything about the devices. One thing confirmed so far is that Apple is planning to introduce three new iPhones this year, out of which two are said to carry OLED displays, while the third one is touted to be an affordable variant, carrying an LCD display. And while we’ve already seen leaked images of the three iPhones before, a new video posted on YouTube, gives us a more in detailed look at them.
The video posted by the Mobile Fun showcases what are stated to be high-quality replicas of the new 6.5-inch iPhone Plus variant and the 6.1 LCD variant. The narrator can be seen using an actual iPhone X to represent its successor, as the dimensions of the two phones are said to be the same.
Watch: This year’s Apple iPhones
In terms of design, not a lot seems to have changed. All the iPhone are touted to sport a notch display, and will feature similar placement of buttons and the lightning port to the current iPhone X. The video also states them to carry similar sized bezels.
That said, the interesting thing mentioned in the video is the name scheme Apple could choose to go with. The video states the iPhone X successor to be called iPhone XS and its bigger variant to be called iPhone XS Plus. That said, the LCD variant is touted to be called just iPhone. While that seems odd, the speculation comes from Apple’s decision to call its new entry-level iPad, just iPad. The video also states the LCD variant to be the only one in the lineup to not sport a dual-rear camera setup, further hinting at its low price.

As there is no home button, previous rumors have suggested all three models to rely on the new 3D facial recognition system introduced with the iPhone X. The new iPhone X successor is also expected to be priced around $999, with the larger variant priced at $100 or $200 more. The LCD iPhone could be priced around $600. Leaks have also suggested there to be dual SIM variants this time for the iPhone XS Plus and the LCD iPhone. Apple is expected to unveil the new iPhones in September.
