Apple iPhone 5 now available in India starting at Rs 45,500 for 16GB version
This is the moment gadget collectors in India have been waiting for. The Apple iPhone 5 is now officially available in India starting at Rs 45,500 for the 16GB version. The 32GB model costs Rs 52,500 and the 64GB model costs Rs 59,500. Apple had originally unveiled the iPhone 5 back in September and it features an all-new design flush with an aluminum finish and chamfered edges.
Previously, BGR India had originally exclusively reported about Apple’s iPhone 5 plans and the launch has now come to fruition. In the build up to the launch we have seen numerous online retailers put up the device for pre-orders.
The iPhone 5 runs on iOS 6 and features a 4-inch Retina display, a dual-core Apple A6 processor, 1GB of RAM, a 8-megapixel iSight camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front facing Facetime camera. Additionally, it is also the thinnest and lightest iPhone Apple has ever made. The iPhone 5 is available in white and black colors.

hrishikesh 198 days agoEven I am told the same information that stock for 32GB and 64GB will come on 8th n will be available on 9th. But Unicorn Andheri had few 32GB units ready few mins back.

I Pr-Booked weeks back, today they call and say black they can give now and for white, i should wait 1more week.

In ahmedabad one reseller was giving me white 16 GB but i wanted Black so i refused…
and personal thinking white looks very cheap..!!

Reason for white : I Read many blogs and saw you tube videos, where they say black gets scratches very quickly, slate color which is at rear fades away for a reason being they have used silver as base and slate is just a coat on it and again how well you keep them…Matters…!!!
And looking at all the online website and Airtel, Aircel they are offering only black for a matter demand for white is more.
I am using 4s black, rear of both phones are different, 4s black is awesome compare to iphone5

Why does Apple even bother to do a launch in India with just a handful of units that are sold out within seconds? Apple’s demise will be driven by supply constraints and arrogance, not demand!

Even I had booked my 32GB in Maple vashi only but they said they didn’t have any stock available. If they had only 10 pieces available I still should have got one as I booked it on 26th itself.

Even I had bookd on 26th but dey gav preferance to customers who had made full payments I guess..as I was present wen they strtd selling 16gb as one of my friends had ordered a 16gb I saw quite a few people get 32 and 64gb models..I really smell something fishy on maple’s side..as mny retailers are claiming that they’ll receive stocks by monday for 32 and 64gb

Hi Rahul. I called up them again. Now they are saying they will receive stock of 32GB on Tuesday but again only black. Maple vashi is really very poor in sales.

Lucky I ordered black..though u can get a white 1 @ maru nx in vashi second 17..da guy kald me 2 say he dint receive black but has white in stck

@rahul- i have already paid full amount at maple n they said its non-refundable. they are confirming that black will be available on tuesday and white on friday. i would recommend you to consider white considering the scratch issues with black.
