A new bug is reportedly affecting the iPhone X‘s ability to receive phone calls, wherein incoming calls don’t appear on the iPhone X’s display properly. Instead, users hear their phone ringing but they don’t see the caller ID information or the buttons to answer the call.

It is still unknown how widespread the issue is as of now, but it is of course annoying for the ones who have been affected by it. As per posts on Apple’s support forum, the issue has been occurring ever since December for some users. Apple says that it is working on fixing the issue. Meanwhile, some users have suggested that reinstalling iOS using iTunes has temporarily helped some of them.

This issue is another pearl in the necklace of issues on the iPhones. Just a couple of days earlier, some Apple iPhone 7 users had complained of an issue that causes them to not connect to cellular networks, with the device shifting to ‘No Service’. For the impacted users, Apple has now initiated a repair program to fix the faulty logic board component which is causing the issue.

There was also the issue reported where the iPhone X was freezing up in cold temperatures and fielded complaints about display issues. And then of course there is the whole scenario of Apple deliberately slowing down iPhones.

Simultaneously, Apple has been working really had to fix all the issues on its way. Recently Apple revealed the iOS 11.3 preview that showed the power management features, new Animoji and more. Just a day after that Apple also confirmed that the new version of the operating system will also fix the iPhone throttling issue.
