Apple might be planning a big revamp of the existing iPad and Mac lineup for later this year. The Cupertino-based company has registered five new iPads, and five new Mac models in Eurasia. The details of these upcoming device have now shown up in the database of Eurasian Economic Commission.

The filing found by Consomac notes that these devices are running iOS 11 and macOS 10.13, and not the newer versions called the iOS 12 and macOS Mojave. Consomac has a relatively proven track record when it comes to detailing Apple’s future product lineup. It was the first to reveal Apple filing trademark for iPhone 7, Apple Watch Series 2, Apple Watch Series 1, and AirPods in August of 2016. The leak was the first ever mention of AirPods branding, and Apple released all these products in September.

However, Consomac’s prediction of Apple launching new iPhone SE models based on filing detailed in April did not materialize. In the past, Apple has registered trademarks for new products in Eurasia and often followed up with real products a month later. Apple filed trademarks for updated Magic keyboard, new MacBooks and iPads ahead of their launch at WWDC last year. In February, Apple filed a trademark for the new $329 iPad aimed at the education market and launched the device in March.

The trademark filed by Apple with the Eurasian Economic Commission suggests there will be five new Mac computers with models numbers A1931, A1932, A1988, A1989, A1990 and five new iPads with model numbers A1876, A2013, A1934, A1979, A2014. The Macs are running macOS High Sierra while the iPads are running iOS 11.

The Mac models with the continuous string from A1988 to A1990 suggests these could be new MacBook Pro SKUs. Apple is said to be working on new MacBook models with Intel Coffee Lake CPUs, and the device recently showed up on Geekbench database as well. The two other Mac models in the database could be related to the rumored 13-inch MacBook Air models with Retina display.

It is hard to distinguish the model numbers associated with iPad models, but these could be the ones featuring Face ID. Apple is said to be planning new iPad models with thinner bezels, no Touch ID button, and TrueDepth camera that supports Face ID facial recogition system. Since these devices are not running new OS, it could mean that Apple is planning an early launch. If not then Apple is planning a big hardware treat including three new iPhones for the fall event in September.
