Apple reportedly hires Nike FuelBand developer and fitness guru Jay Blahnik to work on the iWatch
Last month we reported about Apple’s plans to hire a fitness expert to help make its rumored iWatch do more than just show the time and notifications. Apple has reportedly hired Jay Blahnik— renowned fitness expert and consultant for the development of several Nike fitness products— to most likely work on the iWatch, 9To5Mac reports.
Though there’s not been an official announcement from Apple or Blahnik yet, 9T05Mac has come across various tweets and photos on Instagram that give conclusive proof that the fitness guru has indeed shifted his base.
For those not familiar, Blahnik is somewhat of a celeb in the fitness world who travels nearly 40 weeks a year to speak at conferences and consult companies. In addition to consulting companies like Gatorade and General Electric, Blahnik has also helped Nike develop several fitness products like Nike+Running, Nike Training Club app, and the Nike+ Kinect Training and Nike+ FuelBand.
