Apple is gearing up for its annual developer conference, WWDC 2018, which will take place between June 4 and June 8. The keynote will be held on June 4 10AM PT, which is 10:30AM IST. Apple will be hosting the keynote in San Jose, California, at the McEnery Convention Center and CEO Tim Cook is expected to unveil the latest platform changes Apple has made to iOS and macOS, among others.
Apple typically releases developer bets for iPhones, iPad, Mac, Apple TV and Apple Watch on the same day. It is followed by public beta version a few weeks later, and the final software version is released in September, along with the new iPhones. At this year’s WWDC conference, Apple is widely expected to unveil iOS 12, macOS 10.14, watchOS 5 and tvOS 12.

Just like last year, Apple is also expected to make improvements to its voice assistant, Siri, and it is getting new voices, just like Google Assistant. Asking Siri “tell me about WWDC” returns a result “La la la, Siri is getting a brand new voice!” As of now, there is no word on whether there will be just one new voice or more, but we will have to wait until WWDC 2018 to find that out.
At WWDC 2017, Apple also introduced new MacBook Pros and iMacs, while previewing HomePod and iMac Pro. In terms of hardware, a 13-inch MacBook with Retina display is also expected to be unveiled and we might also see an iPad Pro with Face ID. Lastly, there have been rumors that Apple will launch the iPhone SE 2 at the event, but latest reports state that Apple may save it for the September event.
