Just like last year, Apple is expected to launch three new iPhone models in 2018. While the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus featured traditional displays, the iPhone X featured a more modern edge-to-edge display. The 2018 models are expected to feature bezel-less design and come with new color options.
Rosenblatt analyst Jun Zhang recently claimed that Apple would differentiate the cheaper iPhone model by releasing it in a number color options, just like it did with the iPhone 5c. “Since Apple start to launch three new models every year, we believe the company needs to differentiate the designs of the LCD model from the two high-end OLED models. One reasonable choice would be to add different colors,” he said.

Out of the three, one will be a compact model featuring LCD display, and it will be offered in Blue, Yellow and Pink color variants. These are interesting color options considering that iPhones have so far been offered in Grey, Gold, Rose Gold and Black color variants.
The other two iPhones, one will be an iPhone X successor, and other will be a larger “Plus” variant. Graphic designer Benjamin Geskin recently posted some photos on Twitter saying that the next-generation iPhone X model is “in production” and it will be offered in Blush Gold color variant.

We know that Apple’s 2018 iPhone models haven’t gone “in production” yet, nor has the mass production started. What he could have meant to say is that test production for the new Blush Gold color may have likely started.
He also posted photos of Blush Gold SIM card tray to support his claim, along with a render of how the new color variant would look like. Whether or not Apple goes with the new colors that remains to be seen, and we will have more clarity as the September launch draws closer.
