The ArtRage app for iPad has been upgraded to version 1.4 to support the Retina display of the new iPad. This update also resolves some of the issues that appeared in the previous build (version 1.3.2). For those of you who don’t know, ArtRage allows anyone to paint on their iPad by making use of different painting tools such as watercolors, inking pens and oils. This new updated version works for iOS 4 or later, is priced at $4.99 and can be downloaded form here. Hit the break below to find out what all has been changed in this new version.

  • Added full resolution interface for Retina iPad users, everything should be crisp and clear now.
  • Fixed a problem that made text entry boxes to have black text against a dark background while entering percentage values for sliders.
  • A bug that used to cancel n attempt to upload images in dropbox account has been fixed.
  • System buttons have now been given dynamic sizing to fit contents when localized strings were too long to fit their original length.
