Alongside the FonePad 8 and a refreshed variant of the FonePad 7, Asus today also launched the MeMO Pad 7 and MeMO Pad 8 at Computex 2014. Like the new FonePads, the company’s MeMO Pads announced today also come with Intel’s 64-bit processors.
The MeMO Pad 7 has a 7-inch HD IPS display with 1,280×800 pixels resolution, and runs on Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core 64-bit processor clocked at 1.86GHz.
The MeMO Pad 8 (ME181C) flaunts an 8-inch HD (1,280×800 pixels) IPS display, and is powered by 1.86GHz Intel Atom Z3745 (64-bit) quad-core processor. The MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL), however, is a higher-end version which dons an 8-inch full HD (1920×1200 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It runs on a 2.3GHz 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 quad-core processor, and supports connectivity options like LTE and NFC.
All three MeMO Pad tablets sport 5-megapixel primary cameras and 2-megapixel front-facing cameras. These tablets come with Android 4.4 KitKat on board, along with the company’s apps and services.
Asus MeMO Pad 7 has been launched in white, black, blue, red and yellow colors, while the MeMO Pad 8 (ME181C) will be available in white, black, gold and purple. The MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) will be available in white, pink and blue colors.
