Asus has launched two new gaming laptops in its Republic of Gamers (ROG) series. The Taiwanese company has launched two new laptops – GL503 and GX501 – with latest 8th generation Intel Core processors and NVIDIA’s GTX 10 series. Both the laptops are now available on Flipkart, Croma and Asus exclusive stores.
“As users are expecting much immersive gaming experience & to give them shutter free & smooth gaming experience, we present to you the GL503 & GX501, the Intel 8th Gen powered gaming beast that allows you to have the best ever gaming experience,” said Arnold Su, Business Development Manager, ASUS India.
The new Asus ROG GX501 also known as Zephyrus features a blade-inspired design and is based on NVIDIA’s MAX-Q design guidelines. The laptop has a profile that tapers from 17.9mm down to just 16.9mm at its thinnest. It is the world’s thinnest laptop to be powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processor and includes discrete NVIDIA GTX 1080 (Max-Q) graphics processor.
In terms of specifications, the ROG GX501 has a 15.6-inch Full HD display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time to minimize ghosting and motion blur. It also uses NVIDIA G-SYNC display technology to synchronize display’s refresh rate with GeForce graphics card for smooth visuals. The Zephyrus includes a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 support and HDMI 2.0 for G-SYNC.
The Asus ROG Strix GL503, on the other hand, is also powered by 8th generation Intel Core i7 CPU and comes with NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti discrete graphics processor. It comes with a display supporting 120Hz refresh rate and 3ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response. The gaming laptop is configured with 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSHD and 256GB of PCIE SSD storage.

Asus is currently taking pre-orders for both the models via Flipkart, Croma and Asus exclusive stores. The ROG GL503 is priced at Rs 1,09,990 while the ROG Zephyrus GX501 is priced at Rs 2,99,990.
