Asus has announced Transformer Pad models TF103C and TF303CL, which are the company’s 10.1-inch Android hybrids. These tablets are powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Bay Trail processor. The unveiling took place at its Computex 2014 press event where Asus also launched new variants of its FonePad and MeMO Pad.
In terms of specifications, the TF303CL is a higher end version of the tablet which flaunts a 10.1-inch full HD (1,920×1,200 pixels) IPS display, and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The Transformer Pad model TF103C, on the other hand, comes with a 10.1-inch HD (1,280×800 pixels) display and has a lower 1GB of RAM. Both the variants are powered by the latest 64-bit Intel Atom Z3745 quad-core processor clocking at 1.86GHz. The tablets can be docked with detachable keyboards, which feature intuitive one-touch function keys for ease of use. On the software front, the tablets run on the Android’s latest 4.4.2 KitKat version.
The Transformer Pad TF103C comes with Wi-Fi and GPS connectivity options, while the TF303CL version also supports 4G LTE network. The Transformer Pad TF103C is available in black or white, and the ASUS Transformer Pad TF303CL comes in blue or gold.
