With one of the biggest tech events of the year, the MWC 2018 ahead of us, the series of smartphone leaks seem to be never-ending. The latest joining the lot comes from famous leakster Evan Blass, who has revealed some vital specifications and design details about the upcoming Asus Zenfone 5 Lite.
As per a tweet recently shared by Blass, the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite will feature a quad-camera setup, which means, dual-camera setup on the front and back. Going by the leak, the purported Zenfone 5 Lite will feature a combination of two 20-megapixel cameras at the rear, and a combination of two 16-megapixel sensors in the front.
Further, the leak also suggests a display on the smartphone that will come with FHD+ resolution, which translates to 2160×1440 pixels.

The tweet also carried an image that shows of parts of the front and back of the purported smartphone. On the front, we see the display featuring what looks like an 18:9 aspect ratio, though the bezels still seem a bit chunky. We see narrow bezels on the side of the display, and a little broader ones on the top and bottom. No physical button is seen on the front of the device’s body.
Besides the dual-camera setup on the front, there sits the proximity sensors, an earpiece and what could be a front flash. On the back, we can notice a vertically placed camera setup in the middle, with the LED-flash sitting next to it. The fingerprint sensor is placed right below the cameras. The volume rocker and power button could also be noticed on the right edge of the device.
Do note, considering that Blass reveals that this is the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite, this is a slightly shredded down version of what we will see on the Asus Zenfone 5. But the final details must be awaited till the official launch, which is expected to take place on February 27 in Barcelona, Spain, at the MWC 2018.
