Asus launched the Zenfone Max Pro M1 in April. While three variants were announced, the company only made the 3GB and 4GB variants available in the market. On Friday however, Asus announced that that it will also start selling the high-end variant of the smartphone on July 26.
The premium variant of the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. Like the other two models, it will also be available exclusively through Flipkart. Asus is pricing the smartphone aggressively at Rs 14,999 which is Rs 4,000 and Rs 2,000 more compared to the 3GB and the 4GB variants, respectively.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 specifications and features
Besides the RAM and storage, all models feature more or less the same set of internals. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, which features eight cores and comes paired with Adreno 509 GPU. The 64GB internal storage can further be expanded to a whopping 2TB via a microSD card slot. It is also equipped with a 5.99-inch full HD + IPS display, which sports a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.
All the three smartphones carry dual camera setup at the back. However, the two base models feature a combination of 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel sensors, while the third variant is equipped with a slightly higher resolution 16-megapixel primary camera with the 5-megapixel secondary sensor. It’s the same story at the front as well. While the two base variants feature an 8-megapixel camera, the high-end model sports a 16-megapixel sensor for taking selfies. All three models support Face Unlock as well.

Rest of the specifications remain the same. In the connectivity department, the smartphone features 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and runs stock Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It is available in two color variants, Black and Grey.
