Apple Watch LTE pre-orders
Today, the Apple Watch Series 3 LTE variant went up for pre-orders in India. The Cellular variant, as the name suggests, lets the Watch function even when it is not in the vicinity of an iPhone. LTE connectivity also enables features like voice calling and music streaming on your wrist. The Watch is up for pre-orders from Airtel and Reliance Jio, and it will be available for purchase from May 11.
Asus Zenfone Live L1, Nokia 6.1 launched
Today we saw the launch of two new smartphones from Asus and Nokia. The Zenfone Live L1 is Asus’ first Android Go smartphone, and comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio display. You can check out all the details about the new smartphone here.

Twitter password change
Twitter has sent out a notice to all its over 330 million users asking them to change their account password. The social media company found a bug in its system where user passwords are not masked, and can basically be visible in open text format to anyone.
Xiaomi Redmi S2 launch date revealed
Xiaomi’s much-rumored Redmi S2 smartphone is highly likely to launch in China on May 10. Xiaomi put up a teaser on Weibo highlighting the letter ‘S’, Suning stadium, and the launch date. The smartphone was recently also spotted on China’s 3C and TENAA, which have revealed its key specifications and features.
Flipkart accepts Walmart offer
The much drawn-out saga of Flipkart’s acquisition might soon be coming to an end. According to a report today, Walmart is said to have completed a deal to purchase 73 percent stake in Flipkart. Walmart is said to be paying between $14-16 billion for the stake, which will help boost Flipkart’s total valuation to between $20-22 billion.
OnePlus 6 TENAA listing
The OnePlus 6 launch may not be far off, but that is isn’t stopping the barrage of leaks and rumors. After an alleged retail box of the OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Edition was spotted online, the standard OnePlus 6 variant has been spotted on TENAA. The device is listed on the certification site under model number A6000, and much of the specifications and features are in line with previous leaks and teasers.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Vodafone deal
Vodafone today announced an extended partnership with Asus. As part of the partnership, Vodafone will be offering benefits worth Rs 3,200 with non-telco offers for Asus smartphone buyers. The telco is also offering added benefits of Free Red Shield Device security solution for two years on Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone.
