Xiaomi has resumed Android 8.1 Oreo update for its Mi A1 smartphone that fixes the SMS bug and adds security patch for the month of July. The update was previously paused after reports emerged that it removed SMS messages for some users. The update seems to be rolling out with fix for that issue and is being released with build number OPM1.171019.026.V22.214.171.124.ODHMIFE.
Bharti Airtel updates Rs 149 and Rs 399 prepaid plans
The telecom war is not settling down anytime soon. Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs 149 and Rs 399 prepaid plans to stay competitive against its rivals. With the update, Airtel is rolling back data benefits on these two data plans. The company is now offering 1GB data per day with Rs 149 plan while Rs 399 plan offers 1.4GB data per day. The Rs 149 plan has a validity of 28 days while the Rs 399 plan has 84 days validity.
Honor 9N to Be Launched in India on July 24
Honor India has confirmed that it will launch Honor 9N smartphone on July 24. The company has confirmed its plan via an official teaser and the Honor 9N is expected to be a rebranded version of Honor 9i (2018) smartphone that was launched last month in China.

Apple and Twitter celebrated World Emoji Day in their unique style. Apple has announced 70 new emoji wil be coming to all Apple devices and platforms, including iPhones, iPads, Mac devices and the Apple Watch series and these new emojis are based on Unicode 11.0. Twitter has confirmed that laughing face was the most popular emoji on its platform.

Yahoo Messenger has been retired by the company after 20 years. The messaging platform that revolutionized instant messaging with group chat, emoji and stickers has been put to sleep.
Yahoo says it plans to bring a new service called Yahoo Squirrel to replace the now defunct Messenger. Yahoo Messenger made its debut as Yahoo Pager and was once the most used messaging service globally.
