Just last month BlackBerry launched the Key2 smartphone, which is expected to come soon to India. In the meantime, a new smartphone has surfaced online that is said to be a ‘Lite’ variant of the flagship smartphone.
Serial leakster Evan Blass has shared an alleged hands-on image of a smartphone dubbed BlackBerry Key2 Lite. We have come across the mention of this device a couple of times before, codenamed ‘Luna’.
Looking at the image it seems like the Key2 Lite will retain the same form factor as the Key2. This is the reason the upcoming smartphone is called Lite, and not Mini. All the differences instead are expected to be under the hood. While details are scarce, toned down internals will allow BlackBerry to price the Lite lower than the Key2.

Blass also reveals that the Key2 Lite will be offered in more color options. Buyers will reportedly be able to choose from red, blue, and copper colors. The Key2 only offers two color options – Black, and Silver. BlackBerry hasn’t revealed anything about when it plans to launch the Key2 Lite. In the meanwhile, here’s a quick recap of the Key2’s specifications, and features.
