BlackBerry Q10 launched in India for Rs 44,990

BlackBerry has launched the Q10 QWERTY keyboard smartphone in India for Rs 44,990. Interestingly, the Q10 is priced higher than the Z10 which was launched at Rs 43,490 in India. Just a few hours ago we reported that it was available via an e-commerce retailer.

When one looks at the specs then then frankly speaking there is hardly any difference between the Q10 and Z10, but the big deal with the Q10 is the hardware keyboard. BlackBerry claims that it delivers the best QWERTY keyboard experience. This is important because many people love their QWERTY keyboards.

Specs wise, we have the same Qualcomm Snapdragon Plus dual-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM that we saw in the Z10, 16GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, and an 2,100 mAh battery. It has a 3.1-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 720×720 pixels and in the rear it has a 8-megapixel camera just like the Z10. It also has a front-facing 2-megapixel camera.

Does this come with 22k gold plating ? They had decided to stop making handsets, its a good decision.

18~25 K would be decent range for Blackberry for inducting their new smartphones, otherwise there will be < 1000 customers at this price.
