The Z3, BlackBerry’s first device built by Foxconn, has gone up for pre-orders in Indonesia, CrackBerry reports. The device was first announced at the Mobile World Congress earlier this year, but this is the first time the specifications of the device have been revealed. It retails at IDR 2,199,000 (approximately Rs 11,500) and will initially be available for Indosat and XL customers.
The Z3 features a 5-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor, paired with Adreno 305 GPU and 1.5GB of RAM.
Also included is a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.1-megapixel front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage that can be expanded using a microSD card, and a 2,500mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on BlackBerry OS 10.
BlackBerry will be initially selling a limited edition device in Indonesia, with the word “Jakarta” inscribed.
