After launching the PentaSmart series of smartphones in partnership with Pantel last year, BSNL has launched a new range of smartphones called BSNL Champion My Phone. In partnership with Champion, the state owned telecom operator has launched two phones — Champion My Phone SM3512 and Champion My Phone SM3513-3G — with prices starting from Rs 3,225.
Talking of specifications, the Champion My Phone SM3512 sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touch display powered by a dual-core processor. Other features include 3-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel front camera, FM Radio, expandable memory up to 32GB and a 1,330mAh battery that the company claims will survive through six hours of talktime and 350 hours on standby mode.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 2G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. This device is priced at Rs 3,225 and will compete against the likes of Lava Iris 352e and the Karbonn Smart A1 Star among others.
The Champion My Phone SM3513-3G too boasts the same features as above, albeit with support for 3G connectivity. This device is priced slightly higher at Rs 4,499 and will compete against the likes of Spice Stellar Nhance 2 Mi 437 and the Spice Stellar Mi 352 among others.
