BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) really seems to be pushing the telco rivalry this month. In the last few days, the company has launched new landline and broadband plans for its customers across the country. Now, it’s further adding to its broadband plans by introducing a new Fibre-to-the-Home (FTTH) plan for Rs 777, which offers a whooping 500GB of FUP per month at a speed of 50Mbps. The new plan will be available pan-India starting June 12.
The new plan is called BSNL Fibro Combo ULD 777. Besides the 500GB of data, the plan also offers unlimited voice calling benefits, where customers can make voice calls to any other network across the country. Not just that, after surpassing the 500GB of FUP, BSNL will be offering data speeds at 2Mbps, which isn’t that bad.
The monthly charge for the plan is Rs 777, but customers can also opt in for long-term option by getting the plan for one, two or even three years. The combo plan on a yearly basis will be costing Rs 8,547, Rs 16,317 and Rs 23,310 respectively.

The new broadband plan is introduced only a few days after the company launched four new broadband plans priced at Rs 99, Rs 199, Rs 299 and Rs 399. These packs come with benefits ranging from 45GB to 600GB. They also offer 20Mbps data download speeds until the daily FUP, beyond which the speeds will be reduced to 1Mbps. All the four plans are valid for 30 days, but BSNL might even extend them to 90 days based on the demand.
