Burg to launch its Wristwatch mobile phones in India starting from Rs 9,000
Burg, a popular watch-phone brand, is all set to launch its Wristwatch mobile phones in India and the prices of different models will vary between Rs 9,000 – Rs 24,000. A Burg Watch Phone is nothing but a wrist watch that can operate as a mobile phone and comes with an inbuilt SIM tray as well as number keys which are located on the circumference of its dial. And if you have saved your contacts in your SIM card, they will displayed on your Burg Watch Phone by pressing those buttons on the right side which are otherwise used to change/set the time of a normal wrist watch.
Users can make and receive phone calls with this device using a Bluetooth headset. However, the basic models might not support Bluetooth capabilities and in that case, users will have to make use of the earphone and speaker, which are placed on the top and the side edges of the device. Not very user-friendly, we might add.
Burg Watch Phones feature Internet connectivity via WAP 1.2.1, MP3/MP4 Player and also sports a Front-facing camera with 3x zoom and video recording. Other specs include a voice recorder, an image viewer, Alarm clock, Calculator, Bluetooth, phonebook storage up to 500 numbers, Micro SD card slot, Vibrate functionality and also supports multiple languages. However, please note that various models will support different specs and functions depending upon their price.
The company has already launched its Wristwatch mobile phones in countries such as Italy, Germany, Russia, Mexico, United States of America, Spain, Chile, Venezuela, Norway, Switzerland.
