Call of Duty’s Black Ops III has been a popular iteration in the series. Despite having launched back in 2015, it is still getting relevant updates.

Developer Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s latest update for PlayStation 4 involves a new multiplayer mode, and a new map. The map is a wintry version of the map, called “Redwood Snow”. Call of Duty does not have many snow terrain maps, hence this should be a valuable addition to the list.

Now, after the addition of Zombies Mode and Zombies Chronicle mode with maps that are a “blast from the past”, Treyarch is adding a new Infected mode. This latest mode will have one player, randomly selected, who becomes infected at the beginning of the game.

That player’s objective would be to infect all the other players by killing them. When someone dies to an infected player, they are resurrected as an infected player and join the horde. The aim for the infected team is to infect all the other players, while the the aim for other players is to survive the horde until time runs out.

Even with the possible arrival of a Black Ops IV game this year, Black Ops III remains one of the most sold games of Treyarch, and continues to sell till date.

Here’s a look at the latest update log from Activision:
