LG has a lot to present at CES 2018. The company has already announced that it will be showcasing AI-powered TVs and LG V30 Raspberry Rose variant at the tech expo. Now, LG has announced a new 4K UHD HU80KA projector.
The company claims that the device is almost half the size of its 4K rivals currently available in the market. The company touts its 4K UHD projector as an “affordable yet premium device”.
This is also LG’s brightest projector yet, able to display a 150-inch picture at 2,500 lumens, while its HD projectors top out at 2,000 lumens. LG says the HU80KA projector will work well regardless of where and how you put it in the room. There are also two built-in 7-watt speakers that the company claims is good enough to provide audio power.
Additionally, you can also connect an external speaker system using the optical output, HDMI, or wirelessly via Bluetooth. It comes equipped with standard connectivity options such as USB, Ethernet, and HDMI ports, as well as wireless support for external devices such as a keyboard and mouse.
LG has not revealed the price and availability of the projector as of now. However, the company will be displaying it at CES 2018 in Las Vegas starting January 9.
LG has also unveiled a new 88-inch OLED TV with an 8K display ahead of the official launch at CES 2018. The company has unveiled the world’s largest TV resolution, which means that the screen comes with a resolution of 7680×4320 pixels. It’s an upgrade over LG’s existing 77-inch panel with 4K resolution.
