Coolpad has announced that it has slashed the price of three of its smartphones – Cool 1, Coolpad Note 5 and Coolpad Note 5 Lite. Starting today, the smartphones will be available at the discounted prices, exclusively on Amazon India.
To begin with, the 32GB + 3GB RAM variant of the Cool 1 is available for Rs 7,999, while the 32GB + 4GB RAM variant is available for Rs 8,999. The Coolpad Note 5 will be available for 7,999 – down from Rs 11,999. The Coolpad Note 5 Lite is now available for 5,999 – down from its earlier price of Rs 8,999.
Coolpad is also offering No Cost EMI option on Cool 1 (3GB variant), Note 5, Note 5 Lite. Additional Rs 500 can also be availed if you exchange your old smartphone to buy any of these Coolpad smartphones. However, note that the exchange offer is only available on Cool 1 (32GB variant), and Note 5 Lite.
Coolpad Cool 1 specifications
Coolpad Cool 1 features a 5.5-inch full HD and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based EUI 5.6. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core SoC. The smartphone comes with 32GB of onboard storage, and sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with built-in beautification mode. The Cool 1 also comes with a dual-camera setup on the back that includes two 13-megapixel sensors featuring f/2.0 aperture, Phase-Detection Auto-focus (PDAF), 4K video recording, 720p slo-mo along with dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
Coolpad Note 5 specifications
Coolpad Note 5 flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD display, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. There is also 32GB internal storage on the Note 5, which can be further expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. On the photography front, it is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfie lovers, there is an 8-megapixel snapper. The Note 5 is packed with a 4,010mAh battery, and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0 wrapped under Cool 8 UI.
Coolpad Note 5 Lite specifications
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite, on the other hand, features a 5-inch HD display, a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735CP SoC clocked at 1GHz, and 3GB of RAM. The internal storage of 16GB/32GB is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. For optics, there’s a 13-megapixel rear camera, along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with company’s Cool UI 8.0 layered above. Keeping things ticking is a 2,500mAh battery.
