Dell launches its new Alienware, Dell G Series and high-end Inspiron laptops in India

Dell has upgraded the processors in this lineup with 8th generation Intel core along while claiming “better thermal cooling”.

Dell India has launched its latest lineup of gaming hardware including Alienware 15, 17, Dell G Series laptops including G3, and G7, and Inspiron 24 5000. The company is planning to aim at a wide range of users from casual gamers to professional gamers with the launch of this new lineup. The company has upgraded the processors in this lineup with 8th generation Intel core processors while claiming “better thermal cooling”. Dell Alienware 15 and 17 will come with “up to 8th Gen Intel Core i9 K-series processor”.

Product Marketing Director for Consumer & Small Business at Dell India, Alen Joe Jose issued a statement at the launch of the device adding, “We couldn’t be more proud of the innovation and uncompromising design principles that our gaming portfolio offers.” Jose went on to add, “Our latest product range is equipped with the latest processors in sleek & powerful design form factor which brings the best in class technology enabling gamers of all levels across categories to have the best gaming experience.” We have covered the highlights of each new device that the company is planning to launch below.

Dell G3 15

The laptop will come with a 15-inch screen while being powered by eighth generation Intel processors along with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. Dell has added its in-house technologies such as CinemaStream, CinemaSound along with a spill-resistant backlit keyboard. The device has been priced at Rs 80,990 and it will be available in Alpine White, Recon Blue, and Black on Dell India website from July 6 and at retail outlets from July 13.

Dell G7 15

G7 15 will come with up to eight generation Intel Core i9 processor along with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with Max-Q design. For the uninitiated, Max-Q design means that the laptop is likely to be slimmer and compact instead of being hefty as older gaming laptops. Similar to the G3 15, it will come with CinemaSound technology. Dell is also providing a single-screw bay door to make it easier for users to tinker with the components of their system.

The company has added Killer Networking technology to ensure “seamless streaming” while prioritizing gaming content. It will go on sale starting at Rs 1,24,690 from July 6 on Dell India website and from July 13 on various retail channels. Dell will offer the G7 15 in Standard Black and Alpine White colors.

Alienware 15 and 17

Both Alienware 15 and 17 will come with up to eighth generation Intel Core i9 K-series processors along with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 along with 8GB GDDR5 RAM for graphics. The company claims that Alienware laptops “are engineered with an improved thermal solution” for better cooling.

The company has added a TactX keyboard in both the laptops allowing more than 108 key commands with 2.2-mm key travel. Dell has priced Alienware 15 starting at Rs 1,46,890 and Alienware 17 starting at Rs 2,08,790. The Alienware 15 will go on sale from July 13 on the Dell India website while the Alienware 17 will go on sale from July 6 on Dell India website and from July 13 with other major retailers.

Inspiron 24 5000

Last but not the least, this new Dell Inspiron All-in-One will come with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 along with VESA compatible mount. The company stated that it has added “advanced microphone processing where the device will reduce background noise for clear web calls and Cortana interaction. The device will go on sale for Rs 91,690 from July 6 on Dell India website.
