In addition to launching the Venue 7 and Venue 8 Android tablets earlier today, Dell also announced two Windows 8.1 tablets in India — the Venue 8 Pro and the Venue 11 Pro. Of these two, the Venue 8 Pro will be available next month for Rs 26,499. There is currently no word on the availability or the price of the Venue 11 Pro.
Talking of specifications, the Venue 8 Pro flaunts an 8-inch (1280×800 pixels) display and is powered by an Intel Atom Z3740D quad-core SoC clocked at 1.8GHz and paired with 2GB of RAM.
Other features include a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front camera, 32/64GB of internal storage and connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. At this price point, the Venue 8 Pro will be up against the Acer Iconia W4.
The Venue 11 Pro, on the other hand, flaunts a 10.8-inch full HD (1080p) display and is powered by the same SoC as above. The rest of the features include an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 32/64GB internal storage and connectivity options like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
