Following the launch of the IRIS 501 last month, Lava has revealed an entry-level dual-SIM phone called the IRIS 351. The 351 will join the IRIS N320 as a sub-4K phone priced at Rs 3,899. Though there has been no official launch from the company, the 351 is already listed on retail websites like Flipkart, Saholic and Infibeam.
The IRIS 351 is a dual-SIM phone running on Android 2.3 and sporting a 3.5-inch display with a 480×320 pixel resolution. It will be powered by a 1GHz processor and 256MB RAM. Other features include a 2-megapixel rear camera, 1300mAH battery, microSD card support and 512MB of internal storage. Lava is also offering a 4GB data card free in the box.
The specs and the lack of 3G may seem old world to many, but at the price it is being offered, buyers aren’t much likely to complain.
