EAFT launches Destiny tablets with WorldSpace on-demand music service

EAFT Technologies announced the launch of their third generation tablets, which are a part of their Destiny line – D90T and D70P. WorldSpace will be launched on both the tablets as an on-demand music service. This is the first time that WorldSpace will become available as a service on a tablet.

The WorldSpace app will come in-built with the D90T and D70P and it also has a feature that allows users to download WorldSpace programs on their Destiny tab and listen to them as per their convenience unlike internet radio which requires real-time streaming. The service also lets the user avail up to 72 hours of music from 12 channels every day. There is fresh content posted daily though the content is DRM protected.

Coming to the tablets, the D90T at Rs 14,990 has a 9.7-inch IPS display, which runs on Android 4.0 that provides optimum viewing in both portrait and landscape modes. The tab can play videos at 1080p full HD and has an HDMI port for connecting it to bigger screens.

It is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor and has a range of ports to further extend the hard drive capacity of the tablet. The mighty 8,000mAH battery gives 8 hours of video playback which is quite amazing.

The D70P at Rs 11,990 is a compact 7 inch tablet which comes with 3G radio that gives universal connectivity irrespective of the user’s location. It features the best-in-class 1024×600 IPS panel HD display, HDMI, USB, extendable memory card slot and a powerful 4,000mAH battery that gives prolonged battery life.

Both the tablets have the WorldSpace application free for the first six months of service. The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store on Android tablets and smartphones with free service of one month on non-EAFT devices.
