Facebook Home now works on the HTC One and unofficially on the Samsung Galaxy S4

After a few weeks of its launch, Facebook finally seems to have brought the Home service to the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S4, though the support for the latter has come on unofficial terms. As reported on the AndroidCentral, both the devices are now capable of launching the app though surprisingly the update has comes as a part of the Facebook app instead as the Facebook Home App.

Facebook launched the Home launcher on a very few handsets, which included both HTC One and Samsung Galaxy S, however it remained unavailable to users of these handsets till date. The Galaxy S4 also seems to support the app after the user bypasses a warning message and opt for ‘Use Home Anyway’ option.

Facebook launched Home amidst much hype but could not gather the kind of traction it was expecting in the market. However, the company has a different story to tell and has reportedly claimed to have received more than 1 million installations, though has not given information about the number of active users.
