Earlier today Facebook went down, and for about 30 minutes users were not able to access the social network, while the official apps were not refreshing the News Feed. Now that services are back up, Facebook has finally responded to the downtime.
In a statement to Reuters, a Facebook spokesperson said, “It prevented users from posting to the social networking site “for a brief period of time.” We resolved the issue quickly, and we are now back to 100 percent. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
Facebook however hasn’t revealed the reason behind the outage, which is the worst it has faced in a few years. Is Facebook back working normally for you? Do let us know in our comments section below.
