Gaana.com brings music streaming service to Windows Phone

Popular Bollywood music-streaming service Gaana.com has just released a Windows Phone app. The music-streaming app is already available on Android, BlackBerry, iOS and Nokia S40 devices.

The WP-version of the app was launched by Satyan Gajwani, CEO of Times Internet Limited at Microsoft’s TechEd 2013 event in Bangalore today. The app is compatible with Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 devices and includes features seen on other platforms like playlists, radio and favorites among others. A feature unique to this platform is the integration with Live Tiles, which should give you song information on the homescreen itself.

This seems to be a good move on the part of Gaana.com, as its rivals, Dhingana and Saavn are yet to venture onto this platform. You can download the Gaana.com app from the Windows Phone Store.
