The phone’s talking point is that it is the world’s slimmest smartphone with a thickness of only 5.5mm. Talking of specifications, the Elife S5.5 flaunts a 5-inch 1080p display, which packs in 441ppi and is shielded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage sans a microSD card slot. Also included is a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2,300mAh, which the company claims is good enough to last for over a day. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean wrapped under the company’s Amigo UI.
At this price point, the Elife S5.5 competes against other octa-core smartphones like Micromax Canvas Knight A350 and the WickedLeak Wammy Passion X. You can also read our first impressions of the device here.
