A new Gionee smartphone has been spotted online under the codename GN5007. The smartphone has been listed on TENAA revealing some specifications and features of the smartphone.
The images listed on TENAA reveals the phone has thin front bezels. There is no home button up front. The power button and volume rocker are placed on the right-hand side of the phone. At the back, the camera module with LED flash is placed on the top left corner. The smartphone also comes with a fingerprint scanner, which is placed at the center of the device.

As per the listing on TENAA’s site, the Gionee GN5007 will feature a big 6-inch display with 1440×720 pixel resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core SoC clocked at 1.4GHz processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Also on offer is 32GB of internal storage. On the photography front, the handset features a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The device measures 156.3×75.6×8.6mm and weighs in at 187 grams. On the software front, it runs Android Nougat 7.1.1 out-of-the-box. One of the USP of the smartphone is that it packs a 5,000mAh battery. Gionee recently launched its first full-screen display smartphone, called Gionee M7. Reports suggest that the Gionee GN5007 is a second variant of the M7 called M7 Power, which is expected to launch in Thailand soon. ALSO READ: Gionee M7 Power with ‘FullView Display’ to launch on September 26

The M7 Power is expected to sport a 6.0-inch display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it will be powered by a MediaTek Helio P30 chip paired with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone might run Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
