Gmail is currently down for some users. A quick visit to Google’s App Status dashboard indicates that the service faced problems yesterday but it should now be working fine. Some users are complaining of receiving Error 502.
Google says yesterday’s outage affected approximately 0.083 percent of its user base. Today’s outage for some users could be related to the earlier disruption in service. At the moment, Google is not reporting any disruption in service.
According to Google, Error 502 is a temporary unavailability of service and should be resolved in a few moments.
If you’re seeing a ‘Temporary Error (502)’ message when you try to sign in to Gmail, it means that your mail is temporarily unavailable. These errors generally resolve themselves within a few minutes, so please wait a bit before trying to log in again. Please note that while Gmail is inaccessible, your messages and personal information are safe.
