Google and Asus will launch updated 7-inch Nexus in May with a full-HD display and revamped design: Report

A recent report suggests that Google and Asus have collaborated yet again but this time they will come out with a 7-inch tablet, the Nexus 7, reports Pocket Now.The report cites sources in the supply chain and is expected to hit stores in May. According to the report people who claim to have seen the next Nexus 7’s engineering samples have confirmed that it will have a full-HD display in a thinner body at the same price as the first Nexus 7.

Google’s I/O is on May 15 2013 and the Nexus 7 will be the perfect follow up to it.

In contrast to this report we had previously reported that LG could announce a Nexus tablet at Google I/O. Now its very hard to guess which company will end-up launching a Nexus tablet, but we are pretty sure that we will se one at Google I/O.
