Google brings Street View from the top of the world, so you don’t have to leave your couch
Google Maps have been always there to provide mapping support to all sorts of places, irrespective of terrains, locations and other factors. And to the travelers delight, Google has now added maps for some famous and highest mountains in several continents.
The maps features support for four of the seven of the highest peaks around the world including the Mount Everest Base Camp in Asia, Aconcagua in South America, Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mount Elbrus in Europe.
These maps offer Google’s popular styles of map-viewing options including Street View, which offers an enriching visual experience to users even without being physically present there. By sewing together a number of images captured at 360 degrees, the Street View in maps features glimpses of the giant hills and surroundings from the bottom as well as from the top of these mountains. Also, these maps are available on Android devices as well as on iPhone.
