Google has updated the Contact apps for Android. The update brings with it several improvements, and a new feature, which are meant to make the app’s function easier. Talking about the new feature, the Contacts app now has action buttons, which will essentially allow users shortcuts to call, text, and do other needed stuff. The update is already live in the Google Play Store. It comes with an update size of 2.68 MB. The app version of this update goes to 22.214.171.124176256.
Further, developers also announced that they have paid heed to user user feedback and have decided to bring back the large contact photos. Which for the longest time has been tiny icons. Also, the update will allow users to merge all their duplicate contacts at once.
Another improvement is an ease in looking up and bifurcating contacts. Android users can can now see G Suite Directory info to search and find work colleagues. Finally, another considerable improvement is that, with the update, users will now have the ability to customize the main Contacts view to show just the labels that they want.
