Google Home and Google Home Mini made their debut today in India. The smart speakers are powered by Google Assistant, and allow you to ask questions about weather, set reminders, play music, control IoT gadgets, and more. Both the devices go on sale starting today, and here’s a look at the launch offers, pricing, and availability.
Google Home, Google Home Mini pricing
Google Home and Google Home Mini will be priced at Rs 9,999, and Rs 4,499 respectively. The Home will be available in India only in the Chalk color variant. The Mini, on the other hand, will be available in Chalk and Charcoal color choices, with the Coral version coming soon.
Both the smart speakers will be available online exclusively through Flipkart starting today. You can also buy them offline at over 750 retail stores including Reliance Digital, Croma, Bajaj Electronics, Vijay Sales, Sangeetha, and Poorvika. On Flipkart, the sale will kick start today at 2:00PM.
If you purchase the smart speakers online, via Flipkart, you will be eligible for a free JioFi router along with special offers on exchange, and streaming music subscriptions. It is worth mentioning that Google is offering a six-month complimentary subscription to Google Play Music on the purchase of the smart speakers. Subscription offers from Saavn and Gaana are available for a limited period – between April 10 and October 31, 2018.

When buying the Google Home at the Reliance Digital or MyJio stores, you will be eligible for the free JioFi router along with 100GB of high-speed 4G data. This offer is valid until April 30, 2018. If you make the purchase at select Philips Hue and Croma outlets, you will get a Philips Hue + Google Home Mini at a special bundled price.
ACT Fibernet retail customers subscribing to 12-month advance rental plans of 90MBPS and above, will also receive a Google Home Mini. For those using HDFC Bank credit cards, there’s a 10 percent cashback offer on the purchase of the devices.
