Google has announced it will host the 2013 edition of its premier developer event Google I/O on May 15-17. This is the event where Google shows off the next significant update for Android as well as some other cool stuff that does not always clicks into a new product. This will be the place where Google would announce the next version of Android codenamed Key Lime Pie, which may or may not be called Android 5.0.
In the last edition of the event, Google showcased Android Jelly Bean as well as the Nexus 7 tablet running the latest version of Android. Other devices showcased were the Nexus Q media streaming device that turned out to be a bummer as well as the cool Project Glass prototype that featured a skydiving stunt orchestrated by Sergey Brin.
Google will announce the opening of registration in early 2013 and we expect them to fill up within a few minutes. While you wait for the registration page to go live, may we suggest reliving the Project Glass stunt? Check it out below.
