Google launches Chrome Beta channel for Android 4.0 plus mobiles and tablets

Google has launched the Chrome Beta channel for Android 4.0+ smartphones and tablets. Previously, Google has had a Chrome Beta channel for PC, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS versions of the web browser.

This way tweakers/geeks/hackers can access new features of the browser before the main release. Of course this also means users will face many more bugs as they will not be using the final product. Users will be able to install the beta versions alongside the final version of the browser.

The latest Beta build of Chrome currently improves Octane benchmark performance by 25 percent and adds interesting CSS and HTML 5 features, so if you want to try it out you can download the latest Chrome Beta from here.
