Last week we reported images using Google’s rumored Nexus tablet had popped up on Picasa and today the folks at Gizmodo Australia have received training documents that reveal more specs related information regarding the device, which would be called the Nexus 7.

All the usual suspects are present such as a 7-inch display with a resolution 1280×800 pixels, a 1.3GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor, 1GB of RAM, a front facing camera and two storage options of 8GB and 16GB and will run a new version of Android – Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

According to the document, there may be two variants of the device, with the 8GB version costing $199 and 16GB version costing $249. Additionally, we now know that it will have 9 hours of battery life and will have a IPS panel with an impressive viewing angle of 178 degrees. This device is rumored to have been built by Asus and could perhaps be the same Eee Pad Memo 370T that was shown at CES. Looks like all will be revealed at Google I/O starting later this week on the 27th.
