Airtel has just announced that Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL is now available on Airtel Online Store. For the uninitiated, Airtel Online Store is similar to Amazon or Flipkart where you can buy a smartphone and it is delivered to your home but that is where the similarity ends. As for the differences, Airtel checks your eligibility for an instant loan and you only need to pay a small down payment and commit to an Airtel postpaid plan for 1, 2 or 3 years. According to the announcement, interested buyers can buy Google Pixel 2 64GB variant after making a down payment of just Rs 10,599.
Buyers can get their hands on the 128GB storage variant of Google Pixel 2 after paying Rs 12,599 as down payment while they need to pay Rs 15,599 for Google Pixel 2 XL with 64GB internal storage and Rs 22,599 for Google Pixel 2 XL with 128 GB internal storage. All the devices will come with a mandatory Postpaid plan where users will need to pay EMIs of Rs 2,799 for 18 months. The plan will allow user 50GB data per month with rollover, unlimited local and STD calls, free national roaming, free Airtel TV, free Airtel Secure device protection package, and the one-year subscription to Amazon Prime.

Along with our device and finance partners, we will continue to work towards making Airtel Online Store the preferred destination for customers aspiring to purchase smartphones.”
To get started, buyers just need to go to the online store, select the device, check their eligibility for instant loan approval and make the down payment. The device will then be delivered to their preferred address.
The addition of Google Pixel 2 lineup brings the total number of premium devices available in Airtel Online Store to 20. Airtel has also partnered with HDFC Bank, Federal Bank, Clix Capital, and Seynse Technologies for “seamless digital experience” on the online store.
