GoPro had unveiled its ‘HERO6 Black’ in India back in September last year with a price tag of Rs 45,000. Now, the company has announced that it has slashed the price of the action camera. The revised price now stands at Rs 37,000 after a discount of Rs 8,000.
At the time of launch, the company claimed that it is the most powerful GoPro, and comes with the custom-designed GP1 processor capable of shooting videos in 4K at 60fps and 1080p at 240fps. GoPro also claimed that the camera came with the most advanced video stabilization.
In terms of other features, the camera has ‘Touch Zoom’ feature and three times faster offload speeds via 5GHz Wi-Fi. It is waterproof up to 10 meters, and is compatible with Karma and existing GoPro mounts. The GoPro also comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The ‘Hero6 Black’ also supports voice control feature in 10 languages.
The camera comes with stereo audio recording and advanced wind noise reduction. Users can use the GoPro App to automatically transform the footage into videos with ‘QuikStory’ feature. Users can also use GoPro App to playback and share footage or use the OverCapture feature to recapture, and share a spherical shot.
GoPro HERO6 Black was launched as the company’s flagship camera and the successor to Hero 5. Just last month, GoPro announced the price cut for its Hero 5 Black and Hero 5 Session action cameras in India. The Hero 5 Black is now available at Rs 27,000, while the Hero 5 Session is available at Rs 18,000.
