Despite a stuttering start, Google’s Great Online Shopping Festival (GOSF) is alive and kicking with over 200 online retailers will be offering a variety of deals and discounts. The shopping frenzy continues till December 13 and here are a select few deals that caught our attention.
Apart from the additional discounts and cashback schemes being offered by coupon websites we mentioned before, online retailers too are offering some tempting deals. Amazon India is offering discounts up to 58 percent on mobile phones and up to 26 percent on tablets. You can get a Nokia Lumia 520 for Rs 7,039 and a Kindle Paperwhite for Rs 9,499, which is a good Rs 1,500 less than what it’s normally available for.
American Express card users will get a 10 percent cashback when shopping on Flipkart. This offer is valid on a bill of a minimum of Rs 5,000 and a maximum of Rs 3,000 can be redeemed under this offer. Additionally, the e-retailer is also offering up to 15 percent discount on select mobile phones. The best offer we could find on this website was for the Nexus 7 Wi-Fi variant (2012), which is available for Rs 7,999.
eBay India too is offering a couple of decent deals, and one that stands out is the iPhone 5C, which can be picked up for Rs 37,990. Snapdeal is offering an extra 5 percent discount on any purchase over Rs 9,999 by entering the coupon code GOSF5. You can pick up an iPad with Retina Display (Wi-Fi) for Rs 27,930, which is a 12 percent discount and add the coupon code to get that extra 5 percent.
Airtel too is offering a range of cashback offers and freebies. It is offering a free 4G Internet dongle when opting for the Rs 2,999 or Rs 3,999 plans, and a free Wi-Fi modem when opting for a 4Mbps broadband plan.
Gaming e-retailer Games4u.com is offering up to 50 percent discounts on select games. Games like God of War III, Unchartered: Drakes Fortune and FFA ’13 among others can be picked up for under Rs 1,000.
To remind you, all these offers are only applicable during the shopping festival, which ends on December 13. Like other such promotional activities, a lot depends upon the availability of stocks so it is best you grab what you need as soon as possible so as not to miss them.
