HMD Global is expected to launch two new smartphones in China today, out of which one is expected to be the Nokia X6. As of now, there is no word on the time and venue of the event, but ahead of the official launch, price, specifications and features of the smartphone have been leaked. Alleged Nokia X6 press render have also surfaced online, showing off the front and back of the design in full glory. The design has a lot of similarities with the Nokia 7 Plus that was recently launched in India.
As we can see in the above photo, the Nokia X6 is seen rocking a full-screen display with thin bezels, and an Apple iPhone X-like notch. The volume rocker and power buttons are placed on the right. Back of the smartphone features dual camera modules with LED flash, and a circular fingerprint sensor.
Nokia X6 expected prices
Based on a report on Digi TechQQ, the Nokia X6 with 4GB RAM is expected to be priced at RMB 1,599, which is roughly Rs 16,800. The 6GB RAM variant, on the other hand, will likely set you back by RMB 1,799 – roughly Rs 19,000.

Nokia X6 expected specifications, features
Talking about specifications, a post on Weibo hints at a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display for the Nokia X6, running at a resolution of 1080x2280pixels, and an aspect ratio of 19:9. Under the hood, the smartphone could be powered by two different chipsets – one with MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core SoC, and the other with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core SoC.
Besides the different chipsets, the Nokia X6 is also expected to come in two different RAM and storage variants – one with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and the other with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is no word on whether it will be a expandable using a microSD card or not.
In the photography department, a dual camera setup is expected at the back, out of which one is likely to be a 12-megapixel sensor with Carl ZEISS lens. There is no word on the other sensor, the front camera and the battery capacity of the Nokia X6. On the software front, it is safe to assume that the smartphone will run stock Android 8.1 Oreo, just like the other Nokia phones that were launched this year.
