After unveiling the P20 and P20 Pro smartphones last month, Huawei is all set to launch the Honor 10 smartphone in China on April 19. We have already come across leaked renders and rumored specifications of the smartphone, and now, real-life photo of the alleged Honor 10 has been leaked too.
The leaked photo (spotted by GizmoChina on Weibo) reveals that the Honor 10 will come with a display ‘notch’ on the top, just like we have seen on the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro. Below the display, will be a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, the leaked renders reveal. The official teasers of the smartphone are also out, and just like the P20 Pro, the Honor 10 may also come with a gradient finish of blueish purple. However, the camera placement looks a little different.
Honor 10 specifications and features
Based on the leaks, the smartphone is expected to be powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core SoC, but details about RAM and internal storage variants are scarce at the moment. The Honor 10 could sport a 5.84-inch LED display running at a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9.

In the photography department, the Honor 10 could borrow the dual camera setup from P20, which includes a 24-megapixel sensor and 16-megapixel sensor. Up front, a 24-megapixel snapper is expected for selfies and video calling. The front camera will most likely also support face unlock feature, like other Honor and Huawei phones.
With a 3,320mAh battery, the Honor 10 is expected to come with connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS and dual SIM card slots. In the software department, we could safely assume it to run Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.1 on top, just like the recently launched Honor and Huawei devices.
