Huawei’s e-brand Honor is set to launch its flagship smartphone, Honor 10 in China on April 19. The company has already sent out media invites for the launch and now more details of the device have appeared online.
The Honor 10 has now leaked in the form of an official press image which shows what the device will look like. The leaked image shows that Honor 10’s back panel will feature the signature twilight color similar to the Huawei P20 Pro. It also confirms the dual rear camera system placed horizontally with the primary camera getting wide f/1.6 aperture. Other features include support for quad-LED flash.
With Honor 10, Honor is trying to offer some of the features found on Huawei’s flagship P20 and P20 Pro smartphones. One key feature is the twilight hue on the back of the device which is now believed to change from reddish hue to bluish on the surface.
As far as specifications are concerned, the Honor 10 is expected to feature a 5.8-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution and taller aspect ratio of 18.7:9. It is also likely to feature a notch similar to the one seen on P20 series.
The smartphone is expected to use HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset coupled with dedicated neural processing unit for AI related applications. It is said to feature a combination of 12-megapixel and 20-megapixel image sensors at the back sans Leica branding. It will also include AI tools for object and image recognition.

Honor is also expected to launch Honor 10 Pro at an event in London on May 15. The Honor 10 Pro is also likely to bring triple camera setup of Huawei P20 Pro down to mid-range price segment.
