Honor has pretty much confirmed that it plans on launching the Honor 9N smartphone in India on July 24. In the meantime, the availability details of the upcoming smartphone have surfaced online.
According to MySmartPrice, the Honor 9N will be going on sale exclusively via Flipkart. The company is said to be opting for a flash sale model for the upcoming device. In recent times, the likes of Honor 7A and Honor 9 Lite too have been available exclusively via Flipkart.
As we have reported before, the Honor 9N is likely to be a rebranded version of the Honor 9i (2018), which was launched in China last month. The Honor 9i (2018) is among the latest devices from the company to adopt the notch design.
Honor 9i (2018) specifications, features
Being a rebranded version, the Honor 9N is likely to share the Honor 9i (2018)’s specifications and features. In essence, you get a 5.84-inch notched FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio, and a Kirin 659 octa-core SoC under the hood. The smartphone also features 4GB of RAM, and two storage options – 64GB and 128GB.

The rest of the features include a dual-camera setup (13-megapixel+2-megapixel), 16-megapixel front camera, and a 3,000mAh battery. On the software front, the device will likely run Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 in India.
The Honor 9i (2018) was launched in China with a price tag of RMB 1,399 (approximately Rs 14,600) for the 64GB variant, and RMB 1,699 (approximately Rs 17,800) for the 128GB variant. Honor is likely to stick to similar price points when launching the smartphone in India.
