Honor, the digital brand of Chinese smartphone maker Huawei, has announced discounts and no-cost EMI offer on its smartphones. The offer will be available on company’s best-selling Honor 7X, Honor 8 Pro, Honor 9i and Honor 6X during ‘Honor Blockbuster Days’ being held between January 8 and January 12. The discounts will be available from Honor’s online retail partners Flipkart and Amazon India.
Honor 7X, the latest mid-range smartphone from the Chinese company, will be available with no cost EMI up to 12 months, starting at Rs 1,083 per month for 12 months. Other tenure options are also available. The Honor 7X was launched last month as an Amazon Exclusive smartphone and was priced at Rs 12,999. It features a 5.93-inch display with Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is company’s own Kirin 659 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and option for 32GB or 64GB internal storage.
It features dual rear cameras with a combination of 16-megapixel and a 2-megapixel image sensor with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. It also sports an 8-megapixel front camera with support for 1080p video recording. The smartphone runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 3,340mAh battery.
Honor 9i, the first smartphone to feature four cameras, is getting an additional discount of Rs 2,000 on exchange offer. The smartphone was launched in October at Rs 17,999 and is available exclusively from Flipkart. In terms of specifications, it features a 5.9-inch display with Full HD+ resolution supporting the taller 18:9 aspect ratio. It comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage and uses Kirin 659 chipset.
The highlight of the device is the dual front and rear camera setup. The Honor 9i sports a combination of 16-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear camera setup while the front uses a combination of 13-megapixel and 2-megapixel image sensors. It also runs EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and houses a 3,340mAh battery.
Honor 8 Pro
Honor 8 Pro, the flagship smartphone from last year, is getting a discount of Rs 4,000 and will be available at Rs 25,999, down from Rs 29,999. The smartphone features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, Kirin 960 chipset, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. it features dual 12-megapixel rear cameras and an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is running EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat and is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
Honor 6X, the predecessor to Honor 7X, is also getting a discount of Rs 2,000 during Honor Blockbuster Days sale. The 32GB storage variant is now available for Rs 9,999, whereas the 64GB storage variant is available for Rs 11,999. The smartphone powered by Kirin 655 chipset comes in two variants: 3GB RAM model with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM model with 64GB storage.
In the photography department, the smartphone has dual camera setup at the back – one 12-megapixel sensor and one 2-megapixel sensor, and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display, runs EMUI 5.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is backed by a 3,340mAh battery. The smartphone was launched in India at Rs 12,999 and received price cut and was available at Rs 11,999.
Honor has expanded its smartphone offerings in India significantly and is leading when it comes to devices with 18:9 display. The company recently launched its flagship Honor View10 at Rs 29,999 exclusively on Amazon India.
