Huawei’s sub-brand Honor will be launching the V10 on November 28. The Honor V10 is said to be a toned down version of the already launched Mate 10 smartphone. While the event will take place in China, the company will be holding another event on December 5 to launch the smartphone in the UK for the European market. In terms of pricing, the Honor V10 is expected to be retail at 3,000 RMB (Rs 29,300 approximately).
The teaser hinting at the launch was spotted on Twitter. While it doesn’t reveal details about the phone, it sure does confirms that the Honor V10 will feature a dual-camera setup. Rumors in the past also suggest that the Honor V10 will run Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out-of-the-box. With the Honor V10, Huawei plans to bring the ongoing trend of the full-screen display to mid-range devices as well.
Honor V10 specifications
In terms of specifications, the smartphone is expected to come with a big 5.99-inch 18:9 full-screen display. Under the hood, the smartphone is might be powered by a Kirin 970 chipset. The phone is said to launch in two storage variants – 64GB and 128GB, both of which are said to be paired with 6GB of RAM.
On the camera front, it’s likely to have a dual-camera setup with a combination of a 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel camera at the rear. Leaks also suggest that the Honor V10 will support 22.5W fast charge. On the software front, the smartphone might run Android 8.0 with Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 interface out-of-the-box. As the name suggests, the Honor V10 will succeed the Honor V9. The Honor V9 flaunts a 5.7-inch QHD display. On the camera front, the device sports a dual-camera setup with 12+12-megapixel sensors of f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus, LED flash, and 4K video recording. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone is powered by Kirin 960SoC paired 6GB of RAM.
